I just love the retro charm they'd bring to a barbeque or lobster bake, especially paired with red bakelite utensils. And they're the perfect size for a yummy potato or macaroni salad, aren't they? Back in the 40s and 50s, Fire King produced so many of these great nesting bowls in all different shapes, colors and patterns that even if you find just one of a set, ebay makes it so easy to find more. Just find one you love and start collecting!
It is so impressive that you not only find these beautiful and interesting pieces, but that you are also so well versed on the history of these items.
