After last night's episode, I have nothing to say about windows or dresses but only kind words for my good friend Kerry Howard. He is, by far, among the smartest, most lovable and caring people I know—so much so that my nickname for him, through all the hardship of Top Design, was simply Care Bear. He's also a designer after my own heart with a passion for flea markets and all things good and old. Old souls, he used to call us. See you at Scott's, Old Soul!

Kerry should not have gone home. I can't wait to take you to Scott's again. Maybe Kerry can join us! I am very eager to see episode 3.

Aaaah! I can't believe he was the one let go. From what we've seen, Kerry seems a much better designer out of that group. What a gentleman accepting the responsibility for the loss, and never saying a disparaging word about Wisit.

Have to do the Scott's shout-out. It's fabulous. When we moved to the beach last year, I was certain to score a few pieces for our new home to help bring in that weathered + beachy character. To this day, I just love the teal chest I found which is an antique from Hungary. It is the perfect statement piece surrounded by my creamy double width linen panels and glass doors filtering in the afternoon sun.
Can't wait to see next week's show!

It should have been Wisit! With his Rococo.
Kerry was so graceful the way he dealt with that one. "I just smiled like a true southerner," bless him.

Oh shoot, I haven't watched yet! But I'm so sad and a little surprised that he was the one to go. I guess I'll have to watch to see why. : (

I was sad to see Kerry go as well. Thanks for posting your thoughts and this note. Always nice to hear the "insiders" perspective.
