There was a great piece in the Home section of Thursday's Washington Post with lots of great tips on decorating and entertaining, especially around the holidays. Click here to read it online.
And here's another close-up of Blogging Central—our living room/dining room/garden room/butler's pantry/library/studio/office, all wrapped up into one tiny New York City apartment!

congratulations, you absolutely deserve it!

Fabulous press ! Congrats and I love love love the full photo of your gorgeous abode. I've been enjoying lurking on your blog for awhile via my pal Joni of Cote de Texas. It is so refreshing to see someone who can exercise their creativity and re-use found objects with style and couture quality. No craftiness! Ran out right away to get the Brompton Grey sample because it looks so magnificent! But, it looks greener than in the photo. Any suggestions for shade closer to the photo? We love you here in Maryland!

I love the commentary about good design pieces available at mass market retailers and making them your own. A little creativity and elbow grease go a long way!

Hi Eddie - I love, love, love the white pumpkins and the Wash Post article is just an AMAZING piece. I am so excited to watch you every week on Top Design! Keep up the amazing work - I know someday I'm going to say "I gave him a High Point tour of the La-Z-Boy showroom back in the day before he made it BIG TIME!" :-)

Wonderful article!!!! And great photo of you and your room. You mentioned Target (I love them)... one of my reps at Applejack Art Partners told me that they, Target, are considering making figurines of my crazy ladies, I was floored. They wanted a 2nd presentation.
Congrats again on a GREAT article,
Pam

Congrats on the article! I had to paint some pumpkins white on your advice.
You would really die for the estate sales here in the south, considering your love for vintage silver. Come over and I'll host you. xoxo

Congratulations--nice coverage!! I guess I'm becoming a groupie of yours, and I don't even have cable so I can't watch you on TV! The Post article answered a question I was going to ask but now don't need to--now I know the color gray in your apartment. I love it. I also admire your silver collection. I love old monogrammed silver--who were these people and what did they celebrate with these pieces?
