Jaithan and I are heading upstate this morning to check out a few houses. Who knows? We may even find our own Turkey Hill! We're also planning on doing plenty of antiquing and leaf chasing along the way, so come back Monday for the full report!

hi Eddie - I watch Top Design from time to time. I happened to be relaxing for a few minutes and got sucked in to watching the episode with the swarvoski chandelier - unlike the judges opinions, I thought the space you designed was beautiful, it is sooo my style and I couldn't believe that one of the judges thought it was like a mortuary waiting room! Don't change your style for anyone - it's great!

I had no idea who you were when I found your blog.
Imagine how surprised I was this morning to find out that you do more than work for MS. I read some of the comments on one of your posts and someone eluded to your being on TV. Thank goodness I have the Internet for with a little research I found you and some video on Bravo.
I used to watch TV all the time but made the decision to get rid of it due to the amount of time that gets sucked up. When you are in the final chapters of life, it seems one needs to work harder at leaving it a better place.
I am going to sign up for a Wednesday night time slot down in the TV room here at the "ole' folks home".
Someone referred to you as snarky. I hope that isn't so because it certainly doesn't come through in your blog.

When you say upstate... I giggle. My hubby is from Saranac Lake and when I tell people they say, "Ohh, upstate?" And, I always say... "WAY, upstate!" Should be fun to see your weekend adventure. Again!

Eddie,
Your blog has been my guilty pleasure whenever my husband goes away on business (which is more often than it used to be). We live in Saratoga Springs and it is so lovely, and lively and just a wonderful area. Maybe you'll be near us! It's worth it!
Now that I've commented on one post, I believe I'll have to go back and make all the comments I've thought of for each one! Have a beautiful, even though rainy, Saturday!

Eddie: It is my dream to have a simple little country house for the weekends. I want it to be very farm house like, with nothing fancy. My partner just rolls his eyes and says "well, why don't we just move to a place like that" and I'm like "NO!! I don't want to live that way all the time!" I dream about it all the time with a huge flower and vegetable garden, sheets and clothes hanging on the clothesline, smelling sweet, and sitting in my rocker watching the sunset shelling peas and talking story. I hope you find your little piece of heaven in the country!

Oh...one of my fave areas! Can I point you in the direction of Sullivan County...on the Delaware. Cochecton and Callicoon?? We had a home there...Gorgeous hidden area!
Enjoy your weekend...I miss this time o year and that area!!

Bon Weekend!! Hey, I MUST comment on last week's show... I almost fell off my sofa when India Hicks eluded that she had not seen a sofa used as seating around a dining room table before!! I was like..."WHAT???"..and you Eddie were like.."Where has she been?"!! Anyway, good job Eddie! You really make the show fun and interesting. I went ahead and featured your "Where has she been" quote as my post title for today's blog!! Have fun this weekend, I hope you do find your "Turkey Hill"!

So... did somebody win the title of TOP DESIGNER so they can buy their own Turkey Hill???? Is this a clue? Well, Eddie, even if you don't/didn't win, you are the best in our eyes :) But, I just don't know who else they could pick? Love your Holiday Tips.
Hugs,
Pam
