It's the last weekend before Halloween! Why not kick off the holiday entertaining season by throwing a little pumpkin carving party?
For a shoot I did at House Beautiful with photographer Laura Moss, my friends Barry Dixon and Michael Schmidt hosted a great one at their gorgeous house in Warrenton, Virginia.
Check back soon for the full story and in the meantime, let me know what you think of the new entertaining tips!
Love the tips! For the love of God, call me…let’s do a damn book.
😉
Bravo! Adore the new Tip column! Best of all — thanks for mentioning scheduling and sending out the invitations early (for some parties people really need to do a Save the Date too!) — AND to RSVP! Wish you could hear the horror stories around the Web about nice folks who literally have to chase people down and beg them to give a definite answer! And in the worst story of all — a nice lady said “this couple actually TOLD her that they were waiting to see if anything better was happening that night!” Sigh.
