Shopping, I've always thought, is all in the details. It's that mix of materials and textures, colors and patterns that when combined in a unique or unusual way create a collection all your own. These days, most us just don't have the spare cash to spend on lavish gifts for ourselves or even for the people important in our lives. But that's not going to stop us from shopping, is it? People are are still having birthdays, aren't they? They're still getting married, celebrating anniversaries, throwing cocktail parties, and moving into new houses(!), right? And when it comes to ourselves, we all still need a little retail therapy every and now then, don't we? I know I do! Sure, we may not be spending as much, but that doesn't mean we still can't give (to ourselves and to others) beautiful, one-of-a-kind items we'll treasure for generations. That's why I'm so thrilled to announce our newest offering, Eddie Ross at Etsy! Every piece in the collection I selected, washed, ironed, and polished by hand. Every piece carries with it detailed descriptions full of ideas. Every piece I would most certainly use in my own home. And every piece is $100 and under. Here on this sideboard, everything I think is so fresh and elegant.
The laced rim milk glass cake plate can be taken down and used for serving
cupcakes, tea sandwiches, or any other hors d'oeuvre. The pressed glass
spooners are perfect for holding silverware at a buffet or filled with
flowers on a bedside table. The pair of double-arm candlesticks can go from winter
to spring, summer to fall. They're equally beautiful at a spring
luncheon for twelve or an intimate candlelit dinner for two. And the swirl vase would be gorgeous all year long. Swap out the tulips for holly, the green candles for red, and the table is dressed for holiday! In fact, if this were the sideboard to an elegant spring supper, perhaps the table might look something like this.
At mealtimes, everyone eats with their eyes, wouldn't you say? And who wouldn't want to be served a dessert as elegant as this? Even though the embroidered butterfly napkins are traditionally for cocktail hour, they make for beautiful plate liners as well, topped with this set of eight bullseye crystal footed bowls. And that's what we're proud to offer with every item in the collection—clever, innovative ideas on how to mix in vintage pieces with what you already own, effortlessly and beautifully. That's what modern entertaining is about to me, and that's what we're sharing with you. Speaking of entertaining, could your bar use a chic pick-me-up of metallic swirl highballs and a faux tortoise shell ice bucket? I'm already dreaming of mojitos and mango margaritas by the pool…
And so, when next you're looking for something unique, beautiful, and affordable for the table in your home, or those of the people important in your life, consider coming to the very same place that has inspired and delighted you all along!
P.S. We'll be updating the store on Wednesdays, everyone!

I am so excited for you and Jaithan, Eddie, Etsy is a WONDERFUL site! I love that you are including with each piece a description of different ideas for its usage. It shows your goal is more than income, it is a desire to help everyone beautify their homes in a unique and affordable way. It feels like you love and cherish every piece you find and you are graciously sending it off to its new home.
I have already added you as a favorite seller! Best wishes with the success of Eddie Ross at Etsy!

Hey there, just saw the new issue of Vogue- congrats on the mention in there, the cachepot looks stunning among all the great pieces!
What a tremendous debut – I see you’ve already had a lot of sales!
I’m glad you liked the piece I posted yesterday; I love the shop and now have another reason (besides LOST) to look forward to Wednesdays!
All the best,
Laura
Hi Eddie,
I love the white-green-pink compilation! The scalloped platter on the wall gives an almost wedge-wood or “royalesque” crests (if there are such words) appearance to the tablescape, very nice! You did good! Go Eddie!
Welcome to Etsy! I will cruise your site regularly. You should do well! I am an Etsy member myself.
Thanks Eddie!
Ciao
I literally squealed with delight when I read this. I love Etsy and since I’m too far (Seattle) to go on a flea market spree with you, this is the perfect filler! Hurrah!
Adore the butterfly napkins. However, I’d die if someone actually wiped their mouth with one.
Do you supply ordinary napkins as well? Really. I’d use my sleeve rather than soil those beauties. 🙂
I KNEW you make a great career out of this. Next stop… Eddie Ross for Target? I smell fame and fortune!!!
LOVE the items and the way you’ve staged them in these gorgeous photos.
I will tag your shop – it’s NEVER too early to shop for a gorgeous holiday table!
Congrats on your etsy shop and the Vogue placement!! So exciting!
xo
Nicole

Oh, Dear Eddie~ I have been “reading you” since I “FOUND” you, & what a joy you ALWAYS are! HAD to share w/ you (I usually don’t leave you notes) that my parents had glasses EXACTLY like that when I was a young teen in the late sixties (COULD these BE them I wonder? I remember being warned to be careful as they were very $$$! THESE are EXACTLY like them, and I would/should remember, Daddy taught me to make “proper drinks”, & often used this particular glass. OMG, what MEMORIES! I am so thrilled, & SOOOO happy you chose THESE glasses to share/show here! I am still smililng! Thank you! Warmest wishes, Linda/ RMS “Mom of a German Shorthair”
