Big Window Challenge - Get the Look

Wondering how to bring some of the personality and flair of the window into your home? In many ways, I think of this room as a look you might see going down a runway in Bryant Park. It's eye-catching, dramatic and larger than life! 

But what makes it to stores—and homes—often requires a bit of tweaking, adjusting and editing to make it truly your own. If you love the spatter wallpaper, try doing a small powder room or the inside of a closet. The hot pink throw is just a faux pashmina shawl, but on the neutral sofa from Bloomingdale's, the color pops! And to bring an instant lift to your living room, mix and match throw pillows in colors that make you smile.

I am so glad you used the pashmina on the sofa...I do that all the time for clients---buy them off the street for 10 dollars in bright colors..a great way to add style and pop to a room for so cheap--

Great post over at casa sugar, I love how she mentioned Lipstick Jungle, that was spot on those high powered women would love this room. I miss that show, I still can't believe it is gone. I also like the idea of the pashima as a throw,I just wrote a post on throws to post in a couple of days I might have to add that little tid-bit ala: Eddie Ross.
