Oh. Eddie. What inspiring, amazing great taste you have. I would so love to go treasure hunting with you. Fabulous finds! I would love to get those lamps and repurpose them. Oh, so pretty. Finding your blog truly made my day today. A perfect B-day present!

I wish I could come along - what fun!!!

Ok, so I have some awesome lamps. What do you suggest as a lamp shade for big beautiful old detailed lamps? Anthro lamp shade? Plain white? Should I add a color of bias tape on the bottom to connect the two? See, Im in lost lamp land?

I can't wait for the weather to get nice and warm (and the snow to melt) on the east coast so I can go to some flea markets. Have fun.

Eddie and Jaithan...You should also set up a booth there and take turns selling. Don't bring anything...just buy it all there and resell it. Wouldn't that be fun? Teach your pupils how to become dealers!!! Sounds like a plan. xo, Rosemary

*living section! ;)

=(
I'm going out of town this week and will be missing another opportunity to see the incredible Eddie Ross in Richmond! The publicity has been amazing! Radio, print and local magazine ads are all over the place so I know the event will be a huge success! Good luck and I cannot wait to read about it in Sunday's licing section!

Oooh I was just there at The Rose Bowl on Valentines Day! Have you been to the Pasadena City College Flea market... LOVE it more I think!

From an old college professor: you should be kneeling at the
altar, not alter!

Can't wait to meet you in Pasadena! Hope the beautiful weather we've been having shows up that day!

Thanks Eddie and Jaithan for posting these photos-it sure was a cold and windy morning in Alameda! But worth it- and I love my Wilendur tablecloth! Emily-(Jean's sister, in the bright colors!)

These trips look like so much fun...is there alcohol involved?? LOL...

Best,
Michelle

Can't wait to see you in Pasadena where we'll be sure and make it memorable! I'll pack the lei's :)
~xo always

Please, please, please come back to NYC and do a shopping trip at the Hells Kitchen Flea! I'll sign up in a New York minute.

- Kate

So amazing, I wish I could come!
Anyway, at that rate we never get to see you here... :)

Kiss!
Victoria

We lived in CA thru much of the nineties and so much of our furnishings came from the Rose Bowl (and from the Pasadena Community College flea market too!). Best finds ever...still in use...
search out some handsome Scottish lads selling new but classic furniture made from old Scottish (Scotch?) Pine they import. We have glorious shelving, coffee table, and a huge armoir. Great quality. Gorgeous looking. Cheap! Another prized find...a deco "telephone table" with a marble top. My friend Kathy and I used to go for the day with no cashs/no checks/no credit cards...just to look around. And we'd still manage to buy!! (COD still works!) BTW, is Todd Farm on the agenda for 2010?

hi eddie! i emailed jaithan awhile ago, and he said there was room, but i haven't heard from him since. i hope he has my name down, cuz i'm really looking forward to see y'all!

Oh, Eddie ! I am sooo jealous. I moved down to SW.Florida. And I must say, I want out!! I miss the good'old flea market stuff. And great 2nd hand shops. We WILL meet when I move back to PA.(Philadelphia area) Have fun. I know you will!!! cheers.

That Alameda trip was so much fun! It was so great meeting both of you! Have fun at the Rose Bowl!

Eddie, Don't forget the Long Beach flea market, 3rd Sunday of Month and the Sacramento Antiques Market, 2nd Sunday of the month. They are both great!!! Saw you at Alameda and said hi.

Oh Eddie and Jaithan, you know how badly I would love to come to the Rose bowl. I had fun looking at the picts from Alameda, it makes me miss you guys that much more. I know I am soooo going to regret not going down to LA. I would encourage any of your readers to sign up now it is the best day ever!! So much information and inspiration is given by Eddie. Nothing like it !! Hugs Kathysue

I will be stowing away in your luggage for your next trip. Shhhh...

ohh I so wish I could go, it looks like a blast! I will just need to find a great flea market closer to my home - might be difficult! Anyway, love your finds!

Jaithan, you devil! You shouldn't have. But I do love it.

Good luck at the Rose Bowl. You'll be sold out by this evening.

Awwwww - stop teasing us gals in Australia. It's not nice KG

Eddie + Jaithan are the perfect treasure guides. Go, if you get a chance and let me be jealous of you. :-)

What a wonderful trip, so wish I could come along with you! I grew up in California and amazingly, only made it to the Rose Bowl Flea Market once! To this day, I have never forgotten the gorgeous antique four poster spool bed I saw there. It still makes my heart flutter. xoTrina

If you're thinking about going with Eddie and Jaithan, GO! I did the Kane County Flea Market and went home with not only some new treasures, but also some now treasured friends.

I wish I could be in the states and come cith you in your antiques hunting tour. Love what you found . The towells fabric is lovely

Eddie, great finds, and of course I wish I could be there. You are a very generous friend!
