Did you catch the cover shoot for Serendipity magazine on Twitter yesterday? Spring was definitely in the air! That is—until we got back home to about 11 inches of snow in our front yard. Car unpacked, five hours of sleep, car packed up, and we're off to Virginia for more seminars on color at the Richmond Home Show this weekend.
After meeting so many fantastic readers at the holiday event in November with Richmond Magazine, we're really looking forward to coming back. This weekend, I'll be talking all about easy, inexpensive, and sophisticated ways of adding color to your home. Speaking of, here's a beautiful, old quilt our good friend Jordan found years ago at an antique store in Mississippi. It's been one of my favorite sources for color inspiration ever since!Back Tuesday, everyone, and in the meantime, follow us on Twitter for all the action from Richmond. In the meantime, be sure to check out 20 questions from Canada's Style At Home, one of my favorite magazines. We're hoping to collaborate with them on a makeover story in September, so stay tuned!

that quilt pic is insanely beautiful. love the flowers & so glad you had fun in richmond! stay warm!!!

Eddie
Thanks so much for all of the great words of color wisdom at the Home Show here in Richmond over the last weekend!!
You showed in the slide-show about wall papering the inside of a closet - well I just had to share my closet wall paper transformation that I did last year. I now love going to my little closet to get my cloths for the day. I will also be adding your fab idea about painting a section with caulk board paint on the inside of the door - pink of course - I will be using it as my "to do list" for the week. Who doesn't go to their closet at least 10x a day right!!

You are truly and inspiration!!

Gray seems to be just it these days. It is a lovely shade. Ohh and your portfolio pic of the larger than life blue speckled egg...to die for. Always looking for a new inspiration to paint.
Happy Travels.

Hi Eddie and Jaithan, I was so excited to see that you stopped by my blog post. Glad you like the Jadeite bowl, It is one of my favorites. I got the cute turqouise ceramic egg holders from Anthro and some other cute frige containers. I am also on the look at GWs for vintage pieces. I have a few clear glass ones with fruit embossed on their tops. Part of the frigescaping is inspired by you,you know. I started looking at vintage pieces and thought of the frige containers. Do you have any? Thanks again for coming by it really made me happy to see you there, xoxo Kathysue
