Spring awakens the possibilities in everything. Soil thaws and daffodils bloom, setting hillsides ablaze in a fiery, golden hue. This weekend, why not bring a bit of their sun indoors?
In a Jasperware bowl from West End in Richmond, I did a low, full arrangement for a splash of color in our powder room. Their stems are secured with crumpled chicken wire beneath. Have a wonderful weekend, everyone!

The Daffodil Festival on Nantucket this past weekend was amazing. I think you guys really should come up next year. It has everything you both love and things your readers will really enjoy seeing. (http://www.nantucketchamber.org/visitor/daffodil.html )

Just catching up with this divine blog. Anyone who uses Elizabeth Taylor as an inspiration for a blue & white easter table deserves a bow!

Hi guys. Eddie, flower arrang. is your best talent. But of course your other skills are wonderful. Sometimes I wonder just how a person can make simple things so fabulous. A bowl of flowers made magical by Eddie Ross. Brilliant, you are simply brilliant. Barb Nieder

Oh so beautiful! I was thinking about your Northern Hemisphere Spring. It's lovely to read about how excited you all are about the change of season up your way. Down here in Australia we are just relieved to be exiting the longest, hottest, most stinkin' summer.... arghh.... months and months of it. I think in April, everyone is happy everywhere in the world, with their change of seasons! April really is a happy 'yellow' daffodil month! A-M xx

Those daffodils really pop in that Jasperware bowl! The container can really make the arrangement. The Bouquet to Art is happening this week at The DeYoung. I can only imagine what you could come up with!!
Hope all is well...
miss you both :)
