The photo of the truck is so unbelievable. How did they arrange those things in that truck? But the most amazing things is that black lamp. It has a very gorgeous design.

I've been "off the blogging" since adjusting to a new job -- what a lovely find to stumble upon! These are AMAZING. I never score at that Sally's...but that doesn't mean I won't keep trying. :-)

Lucky you, the company is still in business today. These may be pre-WW II.

Theme song from Sanford & Son plays in my head every time I schlep something. It is in my blood, no escaping it. What a terrific score on the lamps! PS Jaithan, I received my blue and white linen fabric from Calico. Love it! Thanks for all your help!!!

Amazing... but I'm not surprised you found each other... they are meant to live in style!
xo

Ohhhh.... what a couple of treasures. I wish you were in Maine. There is a HUGE, fabulous, amazing sale that occurs semi-annually. Tables, Treasures and More is filled to the brim with greatness. I previewed it last evening, will return later today and then again Sunday when everything is at half price. Wish you were here!

Oh my gosh your truck! Is that really your truck??? Unreal ...
Those lamps are gorgeous, too!

I want your job. I would not do it nearly as well. But I want your job.

i would pay good money to see you and jaithan driving that truck around town!!!!!!!

Don't you just luv a bargain. It is such a warm rush like feeling, comes over you. Being able to find, see, and transform something is such a gift. You are in a small numbered crowd that can do that!

Good weekend to you;

L.

I want to jump right through the computer screen and kiss you-
what a sweet find to light up your corner. I love black lamps.
Cannot wait to see what you do with them....

I just knew they'd be visiting Shandell's before you wrote it! Can't wait to see what delightful thing shell do to them.

Absolutely gorgeous ! Such a lucky find at the Salvation Army, score !

You scored! And they even retained their labels--congratulations.

I am so in love with those lamps I cannot STAND IT!!!OMG!!!! I know when you turned that lamp over and saw the sticker on the bottom you were a goner for sure. Maybe even before that!!! I am certain you already have a shade in mind. Can't wait until your friend @ Shandell's is done with them. And what finial?? I have a weakness for finials and make myself CRAZY procuring just the RIGHT one for whatever lamp I am obsessing over at the moment. Great score!! I bow to you, Eddie. You are the ultimate junker!!!

Yummy, nice find!

do you ever shop in Indiana?
thot I saw a truck such as this at a famous auction house there

Eddie & Jaithan, great find!! Would love to see the two of you driving down the road in that old truck! Can't wait to see your new lamps all spiffed up.

This is why I will never be able to have a small, sporty car! I must have room for all the treasures I find in my journeys. Thus, I am certain to have a SUV for eternity.
Great find guys.

Again, you transform anything from ho hum to fabulous! Always love my visiting here!

Beautiful! I scored a pair of the most beautiful and peculiar shade of lavender Italian Glass Lamps with the matching (perfectly intact) silk shades to match. Paid more than I wanted to but @ 250 and after seeing the price of these lamps on 1st Dibs,I could not pass them up! May sell them...just like looking @ them for now though.

Glad to hear someone else has Sanford and Sons moments. I have them all the time. Lovely find! Please show us "after" photos.

Eddie my friend Pat sent me over hear, I have not gotten my email post yet. She said you had two lamps that reminded her of me. Be still my heart she is soooo right!! You are killing me, first jasper ware now these lamps. too much!! I found a pair of white milk glass Warren Kessler lamps at St Vincent De paul for $20 for both. I will send you a picture They look very much like how yours are inside, same bulb configuration. Mine have a chain pull. Love them. I got two linen drum shades. I can not wait to see what shades you choose for these, Love them. Sanford and Son I think not!! More like the treasure King duo, xoxo Kathysue

You lead a charmed life.

Yeah baby! That's a whole lotta love - great find. Or perhaps, I should say, great eye!

Wow, what a score! You have such a great eye for finding treasures. I am envious. I will be turning over things more often to see who made them!

The thought of you two in that Sanford & Son truck is hilarious!
