After three days of filming, I was anxious to get back to my garden, where the peonies, sweetly scented with milky white petals, had burst into bloom.
In a crystal compote from an antique mall in New Hartford—a surprise from Jaithan!—I did a quick, easy arrangement for the sideboard in our dining room. What's blooming in your garden these days?

Hydrangeas...I have them everywhere. I ♥ them!

I love peonies. However, so do the ants! LOL! Thought I would plant them at my kitchen window so that I could open the window and savor their fragrance. Now the pesky ants are driving me crazy! LOL!

Hi Eddie and Jaithan,
What a work of art! A gorgeous photograph - I just love the warmth of the gold against the delicate softness of the white.

Beautiful as always, I can smell their fragrance from here! I just whipped up a nikko blue hydrangea and free spirit (orange) rose arrangement for a dinner party, I'll add to it my blog, you DO inspire me! Safe travels, *Amy

Oh how I wish I could grow these in Santa Cruz... I love this arrangement so much, simple and lovely.
This year I'm growing what decided to stay and come up: a crazy assortment of antique roses, pink geraniums, poppies, nasturtiums, bells of Ireland. It is so terribly clashing that I decided to embrace it and throw in some heirloom tomatoes. I haven't had more than a few spare hours to spend on it this year, so I'm just happy things are alive :)

Peonies are my absolute favorites! My peonies have finished blooming in North Carolina and now, the hydrangeas are keeping us company {my second favorite}. The funny thing is, my hydrangeas have always been a vibrant blue and this year, they are pink! How fun.

I just love peonies, they are so pretty! I cannot grow them here in AZ, but I sure can buy them at Trader Joes :)
I have Dahlia's I am trying to grow, they have just broke ground and are growing like weeds now. I hope they will survive the heat long enough to bloom! :)

Our beautiful pink peonies came too early and are now done. I have so many lilies about to pop and several hibiscus that were beautiful last year almost ready! I do love the hydrangeas and we have about 5 bushes! I would like to get the one that blooms throughout the summer!

It is really hard to get fresh peonies in my country... But, I always wish to have a pot of fresh peonies on my dining table. :)

The red bee balm is ready to bloom amongst the white gardenias. Love the contrast. Plan to plant more peonies in the front yard. Ours were stunning around Mother's Day. Hope to see you both in Atlanta!

I have a walled garden that the rabbits can't get into . . . thankfully! Right now I have roses blooming in every bed, along with pink hollyhocks, blue & white verbena,a couple of pink Rose of Sharon (I LOVE pink!), yellow gazanias, deep purple petunias, white phlox, pastel snapdragons, blue, blue Bachelors Buttons and Pink Chintz Thyme growing between the flagstones. It's a very happy cottage-type garden to be in, with tiny white tree lights looping through all the trees. Can you tell that I love to garden???

Blooming in my garden right now are pink peonies, linten rose, wide variety of roses and iris. Azaleas are just about done and the hydrangeas are just getting started.
Loving the scent of star jasmine...it may be lowly but the fragrance always reminds me of my fav time of the year!

Peonies are, by far, my favorite. They're beautiful in the garden and inside, filling the air with their sweet scent.

Gorgeous!! Every corner of your home is just breathtaking! Are you two looking to adopt an almost 26-year-old? If so, I'll start packing my bags.
