Beautiful! I could get my mom one of those. She loves flowers and lovely things around the house. I gave her a set of fair trade organic cotton decorative pillows for the living room!

As usual, beauty personified. Hope you and Jaithan had the opportunity to talk with your respective mothers this weekend. I know that both are bursting with pride at all your accomplishments!

Such a beautiful teapot, Eddie. Like you, I always enjoy using things for an entirely different purpose than they were intended ... makes them even more interesting! Hope your weekend was delightful! ;)

My mom has a teapot collection hiding in a box somewhere. I wish she would get it out and use it. Happy mother's to you!

The perfect and pretty use for a teapot (or is it a coffeepot?) who has seen better days, like an old gal who still looks marvelous, burnished by a chip or two over the years. Bravo.

oops... having a long brunch "en terrasse" at a lovely restaurant located close to a forest and fields.
Sorry for that, Angelika

Thank you for this lovely post! I had a wonderful Mother's day with my husband and son, having a long brunch in a lovely "en terrasse" at a restaurant located close to a forest and fields. After this, family reunion in my mother's house. We couldn't have done better.
I've been reading your blog for a few months now. I love to be here, not only because of the beautiful results of your work, but also because I can perceive your true enthusiasm for what you are doing and your respect for the people for whom you are doing it, apart from the budget.
Hugs from Germany,
Angelika

The chips are all part of the story! I think of them as signs of love :~)
Hoe you are having a weekend as bright and wonderful as those flowers.

Oh how beautiful! I had a wonderful day full of great surprises!!!!! The flowers are gorgeous in this beautiful coffee pot! You 2 are the best! XO, Pinky

GORGEOUS arrangement! Is that viburnum with the tulips?
This post is exactly the fodder I need to convince folks in my floral arranging tutorials to cover the edges of their vessels with flowers -- pretend there's a chip on the lip of the container! I love it!
Thank you!
