Irene may have foiled our plans for the beach, but we did manage to score this vibrant array of spireas and asters from the Farmer's Market to brighten our days at home.

farmers markets are such a delight..you never know what all you may find as well as finding your favorite vendors there each time..hope that made sense.. :)
I go there for the variety and for the good sense of community..farmers markets rock!!

HiE&J. Sorry your weekend was cancelled but hope you had a safe weekend. There's nothing like fresh flowers in the house and I love the container. Tell me, please, do you still accept submissions? I have a client with a beautiful 200 year old colonial in Massachusetts that would make for a fun indoor or outdoor backdrop. The stone patio out back is fantastic. Just FYI. :). Have a good week.
