Irene may have foiled our plans for the beach, but we did manage to score this vibrant array of spireas and asters from the Farmer's Market to brighten our days at home.
Have a great start to the week, everyone!

Hi Eddie...loved your Woman's Day online tranformations to flea market finds!...try to say that fast 5 times... (I'm wondering if you'll ever run out of fab ideas!?)
Beautiful arrangement Eddie, thanks so much for visiting my blog. I cant tell you what a thrill it was for me to have you comment twice. I know you are crazy busy so for you to take the time to comment on my little baby blog is so appreciated. Have a great weekend, maybe you guys will get to the beach after all.

Stunning... I have just been searching mums on Pinterest... tons of beautiful images all ready for a Fall post... This reminds me it's still summer!
Best,

Nobody does a table-scape like you:) Just beautiful, I wouldn't have thought to mix that pop of turquoise with the rose glass, love it! I was thinking about you both when I heard news of Irene. Sorry your plans were foiled but so glad you're safe:) Have a great week. Carrie
HiE&J. Sorry your weekend was cancelled but hope you had a safe weekend. There's nothing like fresh flowers in the house and I love the container. Tell me, please, do you still accept submissions? I have a client with a beautiful 200 year old colonial in Massachusetts that would make for a fun indoor or outdoor backdrop. The stone patio out back is fantastic. Just FYI. :). Have a good week.
Hello Eddie!! So glad to see you back here!! Miss your post!! Love the arrangement and in the cranberry vase it is perfection!!! Glad you are safe from Irene, she was one mad lady!! xo Kathysue
PS I got a new blog design I think you are going to love it!! xo
Just beautiful Eddie, especially displayed with the china and hurricanes. Reminds me of fall which just can't arrive here soon enough in the south. Sorry your beach vacation was rained out, but sometimes down time at home is even better.
xo
So sorry to hear about your trip to the beach. Inspiring tablescape...stopping by the market on the way home today. Hope you guys have a beautiful week.

I love the inspiration that flowers bring .. texture, color, shapes, depth. In this case, the deep reds and violet colors are making me look forward to Fall! Welcome back Eddie!

Asters are so pretty. I am pleased that you were safe through Irene - even though you didn't get to the beach.
Thank you for your kind wishes last week - I really appreciated them.
