I Love that 2nd photo...reminds me of my childhood because my mom would always cut some of those and put them in tall vases around the home for decoration. I have found myself wanting to decorate with them now and had my boyfriend cut some for me recently only to hold them and think "Eew, imagine how many little bugs are in these" and left them behind LOL Will have to just shake them off next time and bring some home. Your trip looks so wonderful. Hope you had a blast in the sun :-)

Palm Springs is one of my very favorite places. Have a great time!XO, Mona

That hammock looks so nice right now. No holiday stress. Just a nice warm nap, maybe a fruity cocktail...ahh...

A great place to get away and relax, have fun, enjoy friends!

Eddie and jaithan thank you for your well wishes, it means the world!

Love and Hugs,

Karena

E+J Goodbye snow, for sure. Lovely pics.

Hope you got to wear pink as much as you liked!

Totally wish I could have joined you, but at my current state being almost 9 months pregnant I'm not sure they would have allowed me on the plane. Anyway hope you both have a great time and find some awesome stuff! xx Danielle

I'm so jealous! I can't wait to see your fabulous finds!!

Ah, I so wish I was somewhere sunny and warm! The weather in Zurich has been quite chilly and grey.

The photos are lovely! The one with the fountain is simply gorgeous.

You won a contest on our blog! No joke, you really won! It's a very cool cuff -- link to our blog to see some cute pics of you two. Let us know where to send the prize.

Ohhh take me with you! I can fit in your (very stylish) suitcase!

Palm Springs is so rat pack architecturally, and geologically surreal. It is an alternate reality. You should visit Pasadena and see the Huntington Gardens, its my fave.
Best,
liz

Luh-ve Palm Springs and the weather! Enjoy! xx

Succulents, thrifing and a hammock? I'd only add a margarita and call it done. :) Hope it was great R&R...

Good for you...relax and enjoy!!

Dear E & J.
Enjoy the sunshine! I remember going down to Palm Springs as a child to visit my Grandmother. I feel very old saying this but 'when I was a kid' Palm Springs was a ghost town! I can only imagine how much it's changed - it sounds like a wonderful retreat.

Ok, whoever took these pictures is a star! They are great! Hope you are having fun and taking some time for yourselves --enjoy; there's a chill in the air now ;)

Looks like paradise to me! Sit back, relax and have a cocktail by the pool for me! Enjoy, you both deserve it. xo

Jealous! While you hopped on a plane, I cleared downed trees in my yard from the Oct storm.! Hope you're having fun :). Carol (formerly Sofas & Sage)

Enjoy!

I am green with envy!
And what did you use to make those cool photos?

Looks like The Parker...one of my favorite spots! Enjoy...
The shopping is amazing. So jealous!

Ah, lovely PS, one
of my favorite places!
We usually join my
parents over spring
break and for the last
two years, my hubby
and I have gone in
November, but this
year it didn't come
together {boo!}. I'd
love to know which thrift
stores you haunt, there.
Besides the ones in
Rancho Mirage, we haven't
found a whole lot ~ and
I KNOW there must be
many treasures to be
discovered, there! Thanks
for the virtual visit!

Happy Monday,
xx Suzanne

OK I AM SO GOING THERE!!!!!!!

Have a blast!! Can you believe you're escaping the snow in November:) Soak up the sunshine!!

Hah! we must have crossed paths! I was in palm springs this weekend, too! It wasn't the warmest of weekends but it it sure was nice to relax! From the looks of your photos, my guess is that you were at the Parker? Such an awesome hotel!

Enjoy every minute by the pool, basking in the sun! You've earned it!!

xoxo Elizabeth

I'll be there for Thanksgiving! Can't wait :)

Sounds like fun!!

The sun always has a way of making you feel better. Enjoy your stay!! I am with Terri, are you going to make it up a little higher, to the bay area? xo Kathysue

And it looks like it was warm! Hooray for you! xooxo

It is so funny to me how the grass is always greener...as a San Diego resident (and a skier) I was envying your early drop of snow. Hope you had fun in the sun!

beautiful pics, wish I was there too..
hope you are one of the fortunate that
has electricity...the early snow storm
has left many in your area without power, so I hear...
best to you and Jaithan...
maureen

Wow, that looks like the place to be!

Great photos! I hope yall are having a great time!

The hammock is beckoning me to come take a nap. Enjoy the sunshine and the shopping.

You are KILLING ME!!!!

Is a stop in the Bay Area on the agenda?

Xx

Looks great out there Eddie!! Hope you get some great R&R time in the sun!

Are these instagram? Perfect photos for that. Hope you're having a relaxing time!

Well LUCKY you! Did you forget something? Anything? Anyone? How about me??

What a great place to escape to! I love the energy there.

Gorgeous but sure rub it in while I sit back here on the east coast on a snowdrift!

There is nothing finer than traveling to a new environ and to travel to a new season.
I do adore the snow but oh to travel to a sunny spot just warms me up right away.
An escape seems to always refresh~
