How exciting! I can't wait to see the posts and I'm glad I got to go with you before you started charging ;-)

At this time of year, I always tell everyone that I can reach not to buy bittersweetand not to take it from the wild. It cannot replenish itself if it is cut back very much at all.
My friend in Kansas had a wonderful orange drape of bittersweet growing on a tree. She loved to take her friends there to enjoy its beauty. Someone, without thinking or knowing the consequences, treked across her field and cut down most of it, probably to decorate their home for Thanksgiving. Now there is no bittersweet and there will be no more from those roots.
Some things belong to Mother Nature and cannot be taken from her. Bittersweet is one of those sacred things.
Please, everyone, leave it if you find some bittersweet. Take photographs and enjoy this wonder of nature, but remember that it will bring bad luck to anyone who steals it from Mother Nature.

oh Eddie! I wish that you would come to California for the Rose Bowl Flea Market....it would be lovely to learn from the master! congrats on selling out and what a fab idea it was!!

Can't wait to see your posting(s) from this event! I really enjoy your blog.

Have an awesome rest of your week and upcoming weekend.

Hi eddie,

I think that you are fabulous. Your ideas have given me hope for my weekend projects this winter and your blog makes me put down my real simple magazines. I don't know if I can make it for your flea market tour, but would love to rendezvous anytime your out and about.

I am so excited for this!!!!!

awwww..if you are ever in Michigan, or more likely, Chicago..let us Midwesterners (is that a word?!) know! I would go for that! I do love my fun and spunky NYC..just can't swing it this time of year! Totally bummed..

Eddie,

Wish I wasn't so far away! Would love to see ya! I might have to bring some bubbles. Oh wait that would probably make for some impulse buying!

XOXO,
Margaret

You will just die if you come down to Texas in April for the antiques show in Round Top and Warrenton. When people ask me about it I explain to them that it is like Disney World but with Antiques and it takes 2 weeks to see it all. Love watching you hunt. HEidi

Boo Hoo! Too far away for this Calif girl but Oh what fun that will be. I will have to admit I am ever so slightly jealous of those that will be able to attend.Great idea Eddie and Jaithan. I see greatness in your future. Hugs Kathysue
